Jean-Luc Wolff appointed Director of Sales and Operations of Quantel France

Seasoned Quantel professional takes on new responsibilities

Newbury, UK, 14 May 2008: Quantel is delighted to announce the appointment of Jean-Luc Wolff to the position of Director of Sales and Operations of Quantel France. He will also be closely involved in Quantel’s commercial development in Italy and North Africa.

Jean-Luc Wolff has been with Quantel France for 22 years and has a long track record and operational experience in all of Quantel’s major market segments. He began his career with Quantel as a sales manager in charge of digital imaging for the medical department, working for 10 years in a diversity of market niches: medical imaging, pre-press imaging (repro houses), publishing and photo processing. He then headed up sales for post-production for six years and was more recently in charge of broadcast sales in France.

“Jean-Luc Wolff is fully equipped to take on his new responsibilities at the head of operations and sales in France,” said Samy Keghida, Vice President of Sales for Southern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa (SEMEA). “He is one of the few people in Quantel and indeed in the business to have such a wide range of experience in digital imaging. He not only has the technical expertise to serve as a high-level advisor for our customers, but also has the people skills and the network of contacts to move the business forward in broadcast, post, DI and in the emerging 3D stereo market.”
