Xavier Munier appointed Sales Manager of Quantel France
Strengthening the sales team with a true connoisseur of the production process
Xavier Munier recently joined Quantel France as Sales Manager. He will be based at the Quantel office in Boulogne, just west of Paris, and will work closely with Jean-Luc Wolff, Director of Sales and Operations, to develop the post and broadcast markets in France. He will also support Dr. Samy Keghida, Vice President of Sales for Southern Europe (including France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Turkey), the Middle-East and Africa (SEMEA), working to extend Quantel's reach in these territories.
Xavier, who is 35, began his career with broadcaster France 3 as a video technician. He then held several positions in the channel: maintenance, operations of transmission OBs, special operations abroad and participated in the engineering of the France 3 newsroom when it moved to France Télévision's new headquarters.
Xavier then worked for Philips DVS as a systems engineer and for Snell&Wilcox as a sales engineer in charge of major accounts (broadcasters such as Canal+, France 2 and Eurosport), often working closely with integrators.
Before joining Quantel, Xavier worked for Avid Technology as a sales engineer in charge of the post market in France and dealt with all media for the company in North Africa. He also liaised with several distributors.
