Sid: Stereo3D workstation

Sid is Quantel's cost-effective, dedicated Stereo3D workstation. Sid is available in two configurations - as a full online system and in a simple viewing, conform and mastering version (Sid VCM). Sid is designed to address the needs of more cost-sensitive post houses; some may require a cost-effective back room Stereo3D system as a 'hub' for their existing tools, while others will require a dedicated Stereo3D room  where a whole client-attended project can be finished. Sid meets both these needs in full.

The Sid toolset includes realtime Stereo3D operation at up to twin HD-RGB, with full, interactive control of convergence, color balance, sync alterations, eye comparisons, imaging errors and editing of both streams simultaneously. In addition, the full Sid workstation includes all the standard Quantel video and audio editing, effects, color correction and mastering tools to enable the facility to tackle every apsect of a project entirely within the system.

Sid VCM includes the same Stereo3D toolset as Sid as well as the standard Quantel video and audio editing toolset. It also has full I/O and conform capabilities as well as the Quantel mastering toolset.
